I got a new job!!! Hooray! While it is definitely not my dream job in the least, i'm working full time, and saving the Benjamin's $$$ KA-CHING $$$ [not really] but its a job and i'm feeling very blessed. 


maybe it's the weather, or maybe its just me but man have the past couple of weeks been rough. It's times like these that I'm grateful for the peace the gospel brings. In my personal scripture study I was definitely guided to this scripture in the New Testament. It's 2 Corinthians 12:9-10:

  9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

My ward had fast Sunday this week because of stake conference this upcoming week. My roommates all got up, so i figured i better get up too. I was actually really glad because i felt so much better after! There is just something about proclaiming your feeling that just validates them. Loved it!

Next, lots of fun stuff has happened and ive been on lots of adventures and stuff, but tonight for FHE we played fugitive on campus. totes fun. {yes i just said totes. so sue me.} it was rainy and cold and then it started snowing! I ripped a hole in my shoe and got soaked. this is what i looked like when i came home.

yeah i was frozed. but it was a blast! also I should probably clean my mirror. maybe tomorrow.

Last, i have made some big decisions lately. once i feel like i can i'll share. guess for now you'll just have to read this :)

So I've been MIA for awhile, and for a good reason. Well, let's just say I've been...busy? 

I will now proceed with what i was talking about. First, i'm officially obsessed with this nail polish.

So my droid is no Cannon XXX or whatever. but this teal glitter.

I find myself painting my nails quite often and then i take it off pretty much the next day for work. curse brick oven. I think it might be turning into what some people call a bad habit... especially because it's not even a good paint job...

i guess i need to express how blessed i am. i have THE BEST family, and friends. and especially room-mates. they have helped me out in times of need and have been so pleasant and loving.
